Bitcoin is stored in an e-wallet and can be reached from any electronic device like computers and mobile phones.
Bitcoin Wallet.
A bitcoin wallet is where you store your earned bitcoin, it is a digital wallet from where you can send and receive bitcoin.
Similarly, a bitcoin wallet is where you will put your collected bitcoin/bits/satoshi by using the bitcoin address of that wallet. You can also pay some bills, buy some loads, send money, received money & withdraw your bitcoin funds to your ATM or you can send and receive bitcoin. It is very similar to online banking or your traditional banking institution where you open a saving account and save money.
OPENING A BITCOIN WALLET
There are two ways to get a bitcoin wallet; the the bitcoin client and the Online Bitcoin Wallet Service Provider.
Bitcoin Client
With this option you get all your bitcoin (money) stored in your computer, or smartphone. Here you are your own bank and it follows you wherever you go, and so it is up to you to keep it safe, any tampering or fraudulent activity could lead to losing all your bitcoin. So always make sure that you have a backup of your wallet and that wallet is password protected.
Online Bitcoin Wallet Services.
With these option all your bitcoin are stored on the website of a bitcoin wallet service provider, and it is accessible with your username and password from any internet enabled computer or smartphone. The only disadvantage with this option is that if the online service close or was attacked, you could lose all your bitcoin, so be sure to go for trusted online bitcoin service providers.
BITCOIN WALLET ADDRESS
A bitcoin wallet address is a combination of numbers and alphabets which you used to receive bitcoin from another bitcoin user, it is the same with a bank account number
What is a Satoshi / Bits?
